WiseDesktop is an award-winning virtual desktop manager for Windows with user-friendly interface and useful features. WiseDesktop creates four virtual desktops and only one is visible at a time. So, when you switch desktops, all visible application windows just disappear from the screen and from the Windows taskbar. It is possible to quickly change the "active" desktop by using keyboard hotkey, system tray icon or WiseDesktop deskband. It is fast, stable and easy to use.

What is WiseDesktop Deskband?

WiseDesktop deskband is a toolbar on the Windows taskbar. It can be used for quickly switching between virtual desktops and running applications. To enable WiseDesktop deskband, you will have to perform the following steps:

1. Right-click on the Windows taskbar.
2. Go to the 'Toolbars' menu.
3. Select the WiseDesktop item.

The WiseDesktop deskband should appear shortly. You can easily change the active desktop by click on deskband icon. Also when you right-click on deskband icon you get its context sensitive menu. You can find there all running applications on this desktop. For switching between applications just click on corresponding menu item.
